Worship Ministries

There are a number of ways you can serve God and help others draw close to God in our Worship Ministries:

New Beginnings Choir:

Like to sing?   Our choir is open to persons interested in singing.  There are no tryouts. Just a desire to sing and sing with others in a way that honors God and elevates our worship services.    We meet weekly from September through June on Thursday nights.    Gifted singers are invited to sing for special music through the year and the months of July and August.

Bell Choir

The Bell Choir meets throughout our program year on Thursday.  You do not need to know how to read music to be in the Bell Choir.   Our Bell Choir director is more than happy to help you learn our simple system for playing bells.  The other members love to help.    All you need is a desire to learn.

New Beginnings Instrumental Group

Play an instrument?   Use your gifts and talent to celebrate God in worship.   Periodically we invite those who can play an instrument to gather and rehearse for various services through the year.    This intergenerational group, ranging from age 11 to 111, always adds special joy to our services.   We love being able to use the musical talents you have to honor and glorify God in worship.   See our Organist, Janice Brown, if you are interested in sharing your gift!

Drama Group

Skits in worship help us illustrate the morning message and share the good news in creative ways.   Skits are shared periodically and we love having a group of persons who will produce and present skits.    On special occasions and special services 'actors' are asked to help present at special services.

Praise Team

We are striving to grow and enhance a praise team.  Like to sing?  Like to play guitar, keyboards, percussion, violin?   Currently we are looking to create a praise team  for our Sunday morning service or an alternative service.    Down the line we are looking at a whole second service!   See Rev. Mike if you would like to share your talents as part of a praise team!
